YYoungkwang is developing small-sized wind power using the Organic Rankine Cycle and eco-friendly wind power as a policy for regulating ship fuel emissions and responding to climate change.
Small wind power [2 kW class reciprocating compressor integrated wind turbine]
Small wind power [2 kW class reciprocating compressor integrated wind turbine]
- This is a compressor-integrated wind turbine using eco-friendly wind power, replacing the electric compressor, and has developed all systems such as nacelles, hubs, and towers as well as blades. Safety was secured by completing not only structural/flow analysis, but also wind tunnel tests and field tests.
- It is an innovative eco-friendly wind power compressed air system that can be installed in all environments requiring compressed air such as factory roofs, fish farms, sewage treatment plants, parks and hiking trails.
- Production holiday 2kW (2.7 horsepower) or more, turbine diameter 3m or less, production air pressure 1,000kPa or more, production air volume 100LPM or more, automatic wind direction tracking (downwind steering), ground type / roof type installation possible, intellectual property rights.

2. Organic Rankine Cycle [20kW Organic Rankine Cycle (ENOGIA company_France) technology transfer]
2. Organic Rankine Cycle [20kW Organic Rankine Cycle (ENOGIA company_France) technology transfer]
- In response to regulations on ship fuel emissions and policies to respond to climate change, we are contributing to the reduction of energy consumption and GHG emissions of ships through technology transfer to Enorgia SAS, a French company. It is a waste heat recovery power generation device for small ships such as fishing vessels of various sizes through the development of transportation, especially ORC (Organic Rankine Cycle) system.
3. Organic Rankine Cycle [250kW Organic Rankine Cycle demonstration]
3. Organic Rankine Cycle [250kW Organic Rankine Cycle demonstration]
- As a 250kW Organic Rankine Cycle demonstration project, waste heat from petrochemical/power plants is used. This is a new Cascade energy system that will promote the effects of energy demand management, such as efficient use of energy, and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions through the development and demonstration of an economical Cascade Model.
